LCI is looking for Medical Superintendent for its Khewra plant. Interested candidates can apply at hassan.muhammad@luckycore.com.
1. Supervise and manage all administrative and operational matters of 20-bed Winnington hospital
2. Provide good quality yet cost-effective medical treatment/assistance to eligible employees [Mgt/NM] and their registered family members as per Company’s medical policy. In addition to attending routine OPD, manage acute emergencies during on/off hours/days.
3. Ensure good quality and cost-effective health services for employees through panel hospitals, partnerships etc., regular reviews of their quality & cost and exclusion/selection of new panel hospitals and partnerships.
4. Manage the Occupational Health of employees along with the effective implementation of Business HSE & E / HAPI plan.
5. Prepare and propose hospital budgets and ensure effective cost management through various initiatives and controls.
6. Approve medical bills of employees and panel hospitals, record keeping of patients history while ensuring full confidentiality as per medical practices and company policies.
7. Ensure timely availability of medicines to employees through effective inventory management of medicines in close coordination with the supply chain department.
8. Provide active support towards various health-related CSR initiatives run by the Business and CCPA e.g. Hamqadam Clinic. Plan and manage health camps (e.g. Eye Camp, Kidney Camp, Cardiology Camp etc.) for employees and the local community in close coordination with CCPA, Tabba Heart Institute, LRBT.
9. Actively contribute towards improving the overall health profile of employees and their families through Health Awareness Sessions, Communications and individual counselling.
10. Ensure all applicable legal/regulatory compliance and coordinate with respective Govt. departments (especially local and provincial Health deptt.) for health campaigns.
11. Ensure skills upgradation and training of Paramedical staff to build and enhance staff capability.
12. Put up an annual Hospital Improvement plan for improving services, machinery and infrastructure of Winnington hospital.
Experience & Qualification:
· 08-10 years experience with at least 5 years experience of hospital management, Hands on experience in Emergency Handling / Trauma Centre
· MBBS. Preference for Specialization in family medicine, Occupational Health
· Preference for having experience in managing medical facilities at a remote site
The incumbent is required to be based at Khewra and should be able to reside at the site with family.
